Our librarian decided to retire this year. Here is a little card and matching book mark I made for her. She had commented towards the end of the year that she was looking forward to reading “big kid” books. That is what gave me the idea to make her a book mark and then when I was on Project Tuesday, that was also their challenge for this last week. I love this striped paper from the Paper Studio. I have been to Hobby Lobby several times to pick more of it up. It’s so cheery don’t you think.
Supplies: Colorbox chalk lime green ink, StazOn jet black ink, PTI Mega Mixed Messages (Happy Retirement), BoBunny Sophie clearly stamps (flowers), Spellbinders Nestablilties labels four, ribbon from the Paper Studio, staple, white cs, printed paper-the Paper Studio bold multi stripe

Today was our last day of school. I have so much I want to get done, I don’t know where to start. I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since March. I have lots of projects to share with you. I’ve had baby showers, birthdays, graduations and the end of the school year. It’s been pretty busy around here. I am sharing a little treat bag I gave to the office staff today. I used white cs, Stazon jet black and mustard ink. I picked up this sun set at R Scrapbook Store and I’m so glad I did (I almost didn’t!). It’s called sunny by We R Memory Keepers. The sentiment is studio g. The baggie is filled with Mike and Ikes. Thanks for looking, keep stopping in because I’m hoping to keep updating my blog until I’m caught up. And then I will start new projects

Good Morning! It’s sunny and 61 here in South Dakota and I’m loving it :) Spring break officially started yesterday at 4pm and I have a long Want/ To do list. Updating my blog was at the top of course. I have placed a post before this one so make sure you scroll down and check it out. We’re off to talk a walk, hopefully I’ll be posting again soon (I really want to participate in some challenges…haven’t done that for awhile again). Until then I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.

Here are some cards I made for others. The first card and envelope was a set I made for my sister. They were having all their friends over for a Christmas Party and she asked if I would make her some invitations. The sentiment on the card and envelope are Studio G. She picked the set up at Archiever’s in the Mall Of America when they were there. The ornament is TCP Studio and the punch is Martha Stewart. I loved how these turned out. The Joy To The World card was the hardest card I have made…not for technique or anything but because of the design. My sister’s friend asked her to ask me if I would make her a set of religious Christmas cards. I have never done a religious them before and have very few stamps that would fit that. It took me forever to get my creative juices going on this set and I still am not a fan of it because I was out of my element in creating it. I hope it was what she wanted. I hand stamped the cardstock with silver ink and the snowflake from BoBunny. The sentiment is Great Impressions. I apologize about the icky pictures. As I explained in the entry below, my camera settings were switched to low resolution and I didn’t realize it until I had taken most of the pictures I am uploading

I made these little pick me up’s for some co-workers. The first one was a Breast Cancer goodie bag for a teacher that is a survivor. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
All images are from Technique Tuesdays Celebrate Life set. I stamped the ribbon on each page of the post it note pad. The Hershey nuggets are wrapped in a stamped label. The bag was a challenge I believe from Stamps and Smiles project Tuesday challenge (a few months ago). I put all these inside the bag that’s pictured below. I used Stazon jet back ink and Colorbox chalk rouge.
This was for a teacher who was feeling under the weather. I stamped the 3×3 envelope in Colorbox chalk rouge with a stamp from the Scrappy Cat alpha antique monogram set. I stamped the sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s On my Couch set in Stazon jet black. Then I put a couple of tea bags inside it.

Here’s another birthday card for a co-worker. I used white cs, textured lavender cs. The image is from American Crafts- clear stamp sentiments lg. I stamped the flower with Colorbox chalk wisteria and the stems are in lime pastel. The dot paper was from the same stack as the other card. The ribbon is also the same as the other card too.
