My cousin turned 21 and this is a little survival kit I made her.  It’s full of things that she can use anytime.  The yellow paper tells her what it is all for.

Here’s a close up of the tag that;s hanging on the bucket.  The stamp is Studio G ($1 set that I picked up a year or to ago…St. Patrick’s Day theme).  Brad is spare parts by the paper studio.  I used DMC floss to tie the tag to the bucket.  All the paper was from HL out of my scrap box.  The tag is from the scalloped tag combo set #2 by Sizzix.  The punch border is Martha Stewart.  I colored the image with Sharpies.

My aunt had surgery and this was a little treat we brought her.  I re-used a peanut butter jar and filled it with mini candy bars.  The dot paper was in my scrap box (I know it came from HL…thinks it’s paper studio).  The button is paper studio and twine is PTI. The scallop circle was done with Nestabilities large scalloped circles.  The ovals were done with Creative Memories oval cutter.  Image is American Crafts clear stamps sentiments.  I stamped the image twice.

A friend of mine had her daughter in the hospital for several days as they were trying to figure out was making her so sick.  This is a little care package I made for her.  It’s filled with a variety of her favorite chocolates.  The tin I re-used, it once had chocolate pretzel balls in it.  Paper is all the same from the above project.  Stamp is from Inkadinkado. Felt flower, brad and ribbon in stash.  Nestabilities large scalloped squares.  The cream tag was done with Sizzix tags, scallop combo #2.

The card was tucked inside the box, I used up scraps for this too.  The stamp  is Kolette Hall got Studio G. 

Thanks for looking.  I hope your weather is better than ours.  We have ran which is freezing can causing accidents all around town.  Maybe it will help melt the snow as we warm up today!  I don’t know about you but I am ready for spring and green grass to play in

Wow, I can’t believe it’s March already.  I feel as though I blinked the last two months away.  While I haven’t been blogging I have been busy crafting.  I will start uploading everything this morning.  Here are some sympathy cards that I made.  The brown poke dot paper was from my scraps box, brown cs is from HL, twine and button are Papertrey Ink, with sympathy stamp is Kolette Hall for Studio G, cattails and dragonflies stamp by  Stampabilities and ink is chestnut roan colorbox chalk..

Well, things didn’t go as planned.  I only got one card made yesterday.  It’s a birthday card for a co-worker whose birthday was this weekend.  I had lost my mojo and I think it’s because I have been still using my summer colored papers.  When I was digging in my stash and came across these, I started getting it back!  This sketch was from last weeks 2sketches for you #36.  I am very happy with the way this card turned out.   Thanks for looking.

Supplies:  cs was from a pack that was in my stash…came from Michael’s.  Image is $1.00 set from studio g, pp was in the stash and it’s from We R memory makers- country flowers, twine from Papertrey Ink, button was in my stash, ink is Colorbox petal point alchemy.  I used my 1 3/4 circle punch and 2 5/16 scallop punch.

Here is a card I made in honor of National Card Making Day.  We have been busy around here today so my plans for doing nothing but making cards was scratched.  But…I plan on doing some card making tomorrow.  I am hoping to complete all four challenges over at Nichole’s blog (Capture the Moment on my side bar) with Papertrey Ink. The sketch is from Caardvarks Saturday Sketchfest sketch found here  http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html.    I will have to list all the supplies when I get back tonight.  I wanted to share at least on card today so here it is.

Supplies: pp paper is spooky dots from the Paper Studio,  cs is Trick or Treat fashion pack colors from the Paper company, orange grosgrain ribbon is from Offray, Colorbox petal black ink, stamps are studio g ($1.00 stamps).  Buttons were in my stash…I pick them up in packs at the local fabric stores and Wal-Mart in their fabric section.

So I worked on these little gifts until midnight.  I had fun with them.  There is one more project I want to do but my creative flow was slowing down.  Maybe tonight I will get to it!  The first one up is for my little sister.  She is in town today for work and I will see her tonight for Girls’ Night Out…love these nights and they only come around once a month.  Anyway, this project is over at Stamps and Smiles for project Tuesday http://sasprojecttuesday.blogspot.com/.  I used pp from the Paper Studio (currently at HL), solid paper is from the paper pack Trick or Treat by The paper company.  Black grosgrain ribbon was in my stash and the BOO! ribbon I just picked up at HL and it says Halloween crafts on it and is made by HL????  The ghosts and goblins stamp is by katie & co. for studio g.  The jar is filled with graham cracker crumbs, ghost peeps and Halloween colored m&m’s.  The baking directions are glued onto the bottom of the jar as I did not want a tag hanging from the jar.  Make sure to head over t Project Tuesday for all the directions on this fun little number.

Up next is a little comfort cup for my principal.  SHe was out sick yesterday and I thought she could use a little cheering up.  The cup is from The Dollar Tree.  I filled it with travel Kleenex, hand sanitizer, chapstick, a little chocolate and some honey vanilla chamomile tea.  The card is 3×3.  The images are all from Papertrey Ink, on my couch set.  The ribbon was in my stash (I know it came from the $1 bins at Michael’s awhile ago).  The button is from bag o’ buttons from the paper studio.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Thursday.  It looks like it’s going to be wet and cold here today.

My hubby and I celebrated 7 years of marriage this week.  Here is the card I made for him.  Our wedding was all around the fall theme…leaves, fall colors (our colors were orange and blue…kind of a navy ).  He even sent flowers to the school for me that were orange and blue :)  Anyway, I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday (SSSc37) http://kgiron.blogspot.com/ for my card.  If you haven’t been to her blog you really must check it out.  I love her sketches.  The cs is from HL and the paper is the Paper studio…can you tell I do a lot of shopping at Hobby Lobby ;).  The leaves are from inkadinkado- 97513 Fall season…got these from Michael’s.  The happy anniversary stamp is jg deni for studio g.  The button and twine are from Papertrey Ink.  I used a fingernail file to sand all the edges of the papers to give it a rougher look and to kind of match the distressed look of the pp.  I also used Colorbox chalk chestnut roan and pumpkin spice.

Good afternoon everyone, today I have a card that covers three challenges.  I used Sweet Sundays sketch (sssc36).  The Belli challenge at Pile It On is to make a card with a Halloween theme.  At at SCS Friday’s LSC238 challenge was to use spooky colors on your card.  I know I said I was going to make birthday cards for the challenges, but I couldn’t resist making this card for these three challenges.  I fixed my comment box so now anyone can leave a comment.  I’d like to hear what you think.  Have a great Sunday.

Supplies:  spooky dots from the Paper Studio, Trick or Treat fashion pack colors from the Paper company, ghosts and goblins sentiment and the ghost image are from Katie &co. for studio g by Hampton arts.  I just love their $1 stamps when Michael’s get s them in.  A pop dot for the ghost, K&Company wackytac for adhesive.  I used my 2 5/16 scallop punch from the paper studio and my 2 1/8 in square punch from Marvy Uchida.  I used jet black ink from Stazon.

Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t posted in 4 days! We have been pretty busy around here getting ready for school to start up again Here are some things that I have created in the last couple of days. I hope you enjoy them. This card I made for the SCS challenge SC239, a sketch challenge. If you have not been to Splitcoaststampers before, you have to check it out. There is a link in my sidebar. I made this card using the scraps I had from the bridal party cards I made for my sister. The image was colored with Sharpies. The image is called Blossoms and it’s a Snag’em clear stamp from imaginisce.

I made this little bag of goodies for a friend. Our boys had swimming lessons together and the last week we didn’t get to go because Tanner injured his ear and had to stay out of the water. She kept updating his swim teacher and then grabbed his certificate on the last day of lessons for us. I thought this would be a fun way to show her my appreciation! This little bag is made from an envelope. I stamped the candy all over it and colored them in with sharpies. To prevent bleeding I cut down a 4×6 index card so it would fit into the envelope, then colored in the images. I used my Cutterpede scallop blade for the top design. Make sure you score your envelope before stamping it I forgot to do that step first on this one and that’s why the many thanks is so close to the bottom and right edge of the bag. This bag is holding 6 of the covered Hershey’s nuggets. I stamped the images on address labels and then wrapped them around it. The images are from Studio G clear stamps that I got in Michael’s Crafts dollar bins awhile back. The card is 2×2 and I attached it to the bag using an office clip so that it would work for Thursdays challenge at SCS WT229. Then I tied a piece of red ribbon around one side of the metal piece.
