Hello everyone!  I am just squeaking this post in…hopefully I have made the deadline over at Moxie Fab.  Here is a sewing journal I made myself.  I have been wanting something like this for awhile now.  I will post all the details about it later….need to get this posted in time :)  Thanks for looking and stay dry (extreme rain fall here right now) :(    I hope these images look ok, my site won’t re-size my pictures lately for some reason so I am having to try and re-size them on my own once I’ve uploaded them.

Supplies:  chip board (Hobby Lobby-art dept.) , Recollections kraft cardstock (Michaels), sewing machine image- My Mind’s Eye/Stella and Rose (A Walk Down Memory Lane), all other images- the girl’s paperie #GP65016 (Hobby Lobby), flower printed paper- making memories/vintage findings (Michaels….awhile ago), pink rhinestone- Recollections (Michaels), button- in stash, ribbon (Target $ bins…awhile ago), matte paper Mod Podge (Michaels), Ranger Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (Michaels), binding rings- 7 gypsies multi pack (Hobby Lobby…got them tonight ), three ring hole punch, mono adhesive runner, mini dot n go (for button), inks: VersaMark, Tim Holtz Distress Ink- vintage photo

Here is a card I made for my co-worker in my classroom.  Her birthday was on Wednesday.  I used 2sketches for you 36  http://www.2sketches4you.blogspot.com/   Stamps and Smiles project Tuesday     http://sasprojecttuesday.blogspot.com/ .  I love how this little gift card holder turned out.  This is the first time I’ve made this style of card holder, and boy was it fast and easy! 

Supplies:  button from Bag O’ Buttons by the Paper Studio, twine from Papertrey Ink, ribbon , birthday wishes stamp from Hero Arts- Birthday Messages, EK Success 1 1/4 inch circle punch, the paper studio 1 7/16″ scallop punch, cs from HL, pp from HL made by My Mind’s Eye  Bloom & Grow (checkered paper is Checking out, floral pp is Spring in Bloom), ink is ColorBox chalk- Olive Pastel.  Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment.  Have a great Saturday…we have snow on the ground here :)
