Welcome to the world Brayden!

Yesterday my baby sister had her first child.  Her and her husband were blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby boy.  We drove up to see them yesterday and here are a few of the many pictures I snapped of him.  Look at all that hair!

My sister-in-law graduated from high school yesterday.  My mother called me up and asked to make a card basket for her open house.  Here’s what I came up with.  I was so happy to have the car image from PTI because I think it turned out super cute.  I love you the rhinestones turned out on the head lights too.  There is a close up of the tag after this picture.

Congratulations!  My parents celebrated their anniversary last month and her is the card I made them.  I made one similar to this at the beginning of October and think it was a Project Tuesday challenge.

You can see that the gift card fits discretely behind the sentiment.  I love this card.  It took no time to make and is great for gift cards and such!

The card below was made for my sisters friends’ wedding.  I have been making most of her cards for special occasions and such.  I love doing them for her.  I created the pp by stamping that image over and over again in chestnut roan ink.

Congrats Keegan!

Here is a congratulations card I made for our cousin who got a new job.img_6979.JPG

Congratulations on the new job

I’m back. My sister-in-law started her new job today. I had wanted to get this made yesterday and dropped off to her but it didn’t work out. Here is the card I made her which is also for the SCS challenge IC191. We were to find inspiration from the website Heavenly Hostess. Here was my inspiration http://www.heavenlyhostess.com/aprons_blackzinnia.html I love the way the colors pop from the black background. I stamped the background paper using a variety of stamps from my new Circles and Dots set by INKADINKADO. Ink pads are by Anna Griffin, the Darcey Collection. I cut a small piece of the pp and matted it onto green paper. Then I cut a rectangle of black cs and white cs. I stamped Congratulations (by Kolette Hall) in stazon jet black ink. I put a red square brad inside the red felt flower (both in my stash of goodies along with the black and white poke-a-dot ribbon). I used Tombo mono adhesive to put it all together. Here is a candy dish that I tied a ribbon around and filled with Dove carmel chocolates for her office. Thanks for looking.
This is the printed paper I created.

Here is the card.

This is the candy jar. They all look better in person. For some reason my pics are really dark, sorry about that.

I found out a few weeks ago that my boss is engaged and getting married soon, so here is a card for her. I couldn’t resist these fun summertime colors. I got the top note set at Michaels crafts. They are supposed to be table cards for weddings but I saw them and knew they would look great on cards ;). I am continuing to try and use up scraps in my scrap box so I don’t know where the striped paper came from. It’s covering white cs. The leaves are clear stamps from We R Memory Makers- team. I picked those up at the local scrapbook store. The sentiment is has no info. on it…picked it up at a local stamp store years ago. Ribbon is Offray (grabbed it from Michaels Crafts).

Congratulations Abby

My sister-in-law has been studying for the past week. She finally took her 3.5 hour medical exam yesterday morning and passed. We were all so proud of her and knew she could do it. Here is a little study caddy I made for her. I got the idea for this caddy from a template for a different caddy that I got from SCS. Here is a link where you can find the original one http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419606

I knew I needed it to hold a 20 oz. bottle of pop so I made mine using 12×12 card stock.

This is the card that I made for her when she called and said she passed!
