I made this card for our PTA. Every year they hold a book fair at conferences and then they buy us books of our choice for our classrooms. I made a second one for one of my students and his family because they bought several of the books on my wish list. It’s such a great program and I like to let them know every year how much I appreciate all of their hard work. I was on Nichole’s blog from PTI and she had done a card like this with one of their new February releases found here http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef012877865fed970c-pi. This made me remember a stamp set I have from inkadinkado called circle and dots and a card that I had made similar to hers last year. The one I made here http://wheredoesstacystimego.com/category/congratulations/ used a variety of colors so I decided to try using monochromatic colors like Nichole did. When I was looking through my ink pad drawer I found a ColorBox chalk cat’s eye set in the colors used below. Then I found that I had matching paper so I went with it. I like how the paper turned out. I stamped an entire sheet of white cs in this print and then cut the size I needed for the two cards. It’s hard to see but the background paper is a burgundy that matches the big circle image. I used solid black ribbon from Offray and two staples to finish it. The thank you sentiment is from TCP Studio Greetings (found at HL). I will definitely be doing more of these in monochromatic colors! I’ve been watching the girls at PTI do it for years and have never tried it until now. Thanks PTI crew! I’m sure you are all familiar with Papertrey Ink, but if you are now you have to check out the website and Nichole’s blog. Whenever I need some inspiration I go straight to her blog.

Here are some white lunch bags I stamped on and filled with goodies for my boys. The monster is from My Little Monsters from Recollections. The hearts are from Bo Bunny Love birds. Do you see that vase on the left? My oldest made that at school for me! So sweet and it’s made using a recycled glass bottle!
I just love this stamp set. These little monsters are so fun! These containers are a mini version of large ones that my mom, brother, sister and I have. We use them during the holidays to hold all our baked goods. I thought these would be fun to have to either fill with candies or when they just want to bring a few cookies along to someone’s house. They hold more than you would think . There’s two trays and each tray held 10 cookies! I was very surprised by this. These are filled with monster cookies which is their favorite cookie that I make :) I re-used the twine from the original tag that was on each container. I used the largest tag in the Sizzix scallop tag combo set 2. The little hearts were done with the love birds set mentioned above and colorbox chalk dark brown. Then I wrote 2 little monsters love u!
Here’s a closer look at the tag on a different container.

My aunt had surgery and this was a little treat we brought her. I re-used a peanut butter jar and filled it with mini candy bars. The dot paper was in my scrap box (I know it came from HL…thinks it’s paper studio). The button is paper studio and twine is PTI. The scallop circle was done with Nestabilities large scalloped circles. The ovals were done with Creative Memories oval cutter. Image is American Crafts clear stamps sentiments. I stamped the image twice.
A friend of mine had her daughter in the hospital for several days as they were trying to figure out was making her so sick. This is a little care package I made for her. It’s filled with a variety of her favorite chocolates. The tin I re-used, it once had chocolate pretzel balls in it. Paper is all the same from the above project. Stamp is from Inkadinkado. Felt flower, brad and ribbon in stash. Nestabilities large scalloped squares. The cream tag was done with Sizzix tags, scallop combo #2.
The card was tucked inside the box, I used up scraps for this too. The stamp is Kolette Hall got Studio G.
Thanks for looking. I hope your weather is better than ours. We have ran which is freezing can causing accidents all around town. Maybe it will help melt the snow as we warm up today! I don’t know about you but I am ready for spring and green grass to play in ![]()

Here are some things we made for Christmas. I am so bummed that the pictures are bad because the towel turned out great! We do something every Christmas for my son’s teachers and this year I decided to have him make his present for them. I started off with buying flour sack towels. I washed them and ironed them. Then I stamped these awesome ornament images from Bo Bunny onto the towel using Colorbox Chalk charcoal. I then heat set them with my iron. Then to help Tanner out I stamped the same images again on freezer paper and cut the insides out of them. I lined them up on the towel and ironed them onto it. This way as Tanner colored in the ornaments (with Crayola fabric markers) and went out of the lines, it went onto the freezer paper instead of the towel. Next I peeled off all of the freezer paper and heat set them again according to the box of markers. I re-ironed the towels and folded them, putting them into these boxes that I made using cs and transparencies. I tied wide white grosgrain ribbon around them and attached the snowflake tag. The tag read to: and from: and he wrote his name on each one. I used the same tags to attached to all the goodie bags he was giving his classmates. The bags had candy, candy canes, a pencil and a little pad of paper I wiped up. The pad picture was taken with my cell phone. I hope you can see it ok. Thanks for looking

This is the package I made for my sister-in-law’s birthday. I have used up all of my birthday papers and am using only this brown craft paper. I love being able to create the design of the paper. I also figure that when this is gone I can start using brown paper bags from the store as another way to recycle them.
Sorry these images are small and that the red one is sideways. My camera settings were switched to low quality for a post we put on Craig’s List…and they weren’t put back! So I have almost 300 pictures of poor quality…so bummed. Any way, the first one is a package I decorated for my nephew’s birthday. The second one is a card for a co-worker. I made one with this same image for my mom but didn’t get a picture of it :( I colored the image in with a Copic…just starting buying these and all I can say is WOW…what a marker.

Sorry I have been away for so long…don’t worry I have been crafting, just no time to blog about it :( I am hoping to get everything updated by tomorrow night and then keep up with it! I made this card last night and wanted to get it up to share with you. This card is for a little boy who is losing his 2 year battle to cancer. His wish was to celebrate Christmas and get as many Christmas cards as he can before he goes to heaven. Here is the link http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/21522646/detail.html where you can read his story and get the address to send him a card. This is the Friday Limited Supplies challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. Please find the time time to get a card to him whether you make it or buy it.
In the eyes of children we find the joy of Christmas. In their hearts we find its meaning. ~Leland Thomas

Here is a gift bag and notebook that I altered for my niece for her birthday. I also made this little 3×3 card. The bag is a lunch bag that I cut down with my cutterpede scallop edged blade. I also stamped the tissue paper with ColorBox chalk rouge ink and the castle stamp. The images are all by imaginisce- fairest of them all collection-carriage, crown and castle. I used Stazon jet black ink. The little images on the altered notebook along with the letters are from EK Success- DSP001 Princess ABC (Disney). Ribbon is from the Paper Studio. Rhinestones are by Queen & Co.

Well, things didn’t go as planned. I only got one card made yesterday. It’s a birthday card for a co-worker whose birthday was this weekend. I had lost my mojo and I think it’s because I have been still using my summer colored papers. When I was digging in my stash and came across these, I started getting it back! This sketch was from last weeks 2sketches for you #36. I am very happy with the way this card turned out. Thanks for looking.
Supplies: cs was from a pack that was in my stash…came from Michael’s. Image is $1.00 set from studio g, pp was in the stash and it’s from We R memory makers- country flowers, twine from Papertrey Ink, button was in my stash, ink is Colorbox petal point alchemy. I used my 1 3/4 circle punch and 2 5/16 scallop punch.
