I made this frame to hang in Brayden’s room. I love to make my own gifts for people. I love seeing the look of joy on their face as they open it. I pp for the background (same pp paper as on the card shown below). Then I cut a mat out of dark blue cs and then cut white cs in a 3.5×5 size. The middle rectangle is for a picture of Brayden and then the bottom rectangle is for his footprints. I just stamped a footprint image on the cs to show what is to go there.
This is the card I made for Brayden. Inside is a nice little saying about baptism. I just googled baptism sayings and baptism quotes and found several I liked. That is also where the saying in the frame came from.
Here’s the tag I made. I wraped the frame in white tissue paper and wrapped blue button twine around it twice and then tied the tag to it. I also had a book tucked under the tag but forgot to take a picture of it :( I believe the title was The Thank You Prayer. I stamped the cross image on a large mailing address label (on the left side of the label). Then I wrote on it saying that it was for his special Baptism day and love all of us. I have always written on the inside of the books when I give them as gifts. Lately I have been making label. I will have a post on those soon.

Two teachers at my school had babies and there was a combined shower for them. They both had girls so I decided to make the same gift for both of them. Here is a picture of the whole package…sorry the photos are dark again. We had several weeks of cloudy skies and rain. I stamped the bunny image onto a onesie with ColorBox chalk rouge ink and then heat seat it. I just love this image. The set has other cute images too. It’s a shame I had to get it in Omaha because out Michaels does not have a very big collection of stamps. They are just started to re do it and it’s about time! The first time I saw this set was when we were at the Sioux City, Iowa Michaels….which has a huge collection of stamps. I bought the boy set because it’s mostly boys in our families. But then I continued to think about this girl set and really wanted it. We took the boys to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo for Gaven’s birthday and I was able to swing in to one of the Michaels and pick this set up! I am so happy I did…isn’t it just the cutest image
Then I stamped some labels and wrapped them around the nuggets. I stamped the pink image several times on white cs, punched it out and then stamped congratulations on it.
Here is a close up of the onesie and chocolates.
Here is a close up of the tag I stamped.
Supplies: twine- PTI, Colorbox chalk rouge ink and StazOn jet black ink, EK punch, clear bag, ribbon was in my stash, onesie, image and sentiment on tag-studio g, bunny image-Sandylion girl clear stamp set

My little sister is having her first child in a few months and wanted to decorate some onsies for Baby D (they don’t know what they are having). We spent this Saturday stamping on 10 onsies (which was wonderful because she lives 2 hours away so we don’t see each other as often as I’d like to). It was a lot of fun and they turned out great!
Supplies: Great Impressions- D341 (monkey), E352 (mouse on tube), imaginisce snag’ems- giraffe, frog, panda, bird, hippo, Craft smart- bunny, Stamp Craft- teddy bear, We R Memory Keepers- hippity hoppity- buzzz. Other: onsies, iron, freezer paper, ColorBox Chalks ink pads.

Oh Baby!
I made two baby thank you gift sets last month. The first one is for my cousin who is having a baby girl in just a few weeks! The second set was for a co-worker who had a girl. The boy card is a set of baby shower invites I made for my sister. She was hosting the shower and these are what I whipped up for her. The match the set of baby gift thank you cards I made for her too. I don’t have them posted yet…they are on another disk and I’m not sure which one. I made those a few months back. Well, thank you for looking. I hope you have enjoyed it all. I am going to keep mass producing the cards that I have been working on for Veteran’s Day. I will hopefully get them posted sometime to more for you. Thanks and have a great night.

Here’s a little something I whipped up yesterday for my cousin. She just had a baby boy on Thursday and I wanted to bring something up to the hospital with us. I stamped the frog onto a large mailing label and cut on the inside line. Then I peeled it off and stuck it onto the prewashed onsie. Next I sponged on lime pastel ink. I let it dry for a few minutes before peeling the label off. Then I stamped the frog in blue iris and stamped in over the green frog. I left it to dry while I created the bag and card. Then I threw it into the dryer on heavy high for over 30 minutes to heat set the ink, which makes it permanent. Next, I ran my embossing gun over the image to to ensure that the ink was set. The bag came from Wal-Mart in their gift section. I cut about 3 1/2 inches off of the top using my deckle cutterpede blade. The tag I sponged with lime pastel ink, then stamped the sentiment in blue iris. I used my tag maker for this. The ribbon came form my local scrapbook store. The card is 3×3. I used the wax paper from the label as a mask to color the frog and bag the same way as the onsie. The blue twine is from the local scrapbook store too. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.
Supplies: all stamps are snag’em by imaginisce (frog and birth announcement), all inks are from the ColorBox Petal Point chalk- primary pastel, blue bag from Wal-Mart, onsie, tag and tag maker by making memories, ribbon from local scrapbook store.

So here is a little project I worked on last weekend. My sister’s friend is expecting a baby and they don’t know what they are having so it needed to stay neutral. The nursery is done in mint greens and browns so that is where the inspiration for the colors came from. Her baby shower was yesterday and this was part of the gift for her. All the cs is from HL in there single sheet selections. The brown is textured cs. The mint green I embossed with vanilla ZING! embossing powder. The dots are from MS clear backgrounds set (can you tell I like this stamp :). The giraffe is from imaginisce and was colored with chalks. I cut the circles using my creative memories circle cutting system. The ribbons are by the paper studio, they came from Hobby Lobby too. The sentiment has no company name on it. I picked it up years ago at my local Scrapbook store when they were having a stamp swap. The box I made for the cards only uses one piece of 12×12 paper. The box holds 8 cards and 8 matching envelopes. I used magnets for the closure on the box. Thanks for looking.
