Mish’s Mini Notepads

SO I love checking out blogs and getting new ideas.  Michelle over at Mish Mash creates these little mini notepads and I just love them.  I finally got to make some of my own last week.  I made these for some of my co-teachers and one of my administrators.  They were a hit.  You can get the details on Michelle’s blog here, http://michellewooderson.blogspot.com/search/label/Notebooks.  I used cards stock from Hobby Lobby and the printed paper was from Michael’s.  I don’t have any left so I will try to remember to look at the brand the next time I’m in the store.  The stamps antique monogram from scrappy cat.  I used colorbox chalk chestnut roan and olive pastel.  I used my 1 7/16 scallop punch and added some white ribbon with a staple to it.

A Girl’s Birthday

img_6980.JPGHere’s a birthday card for a girl.  I stamped the white cs scallop with lime pastel ink.

Supplies:  white cs, pink cs, pp from paper studio (found at Hobby Lobby), ribbon was in mt stash, 1 7/16 scallop punch, present image (A-3436  PSX), happy birthday (rubber stampede 3329k)

Congrats Keegan!

Here is a congratulations card I made for our cousin who got a new job.img_6979.JPG

Bachelorette card

0912091212.jpgHere is a card I made for my sister.  It is for her friend’s bachelorette party.  I had to take the picture with my cell phone so hopefully it looks ok.  I created the black pattern by stamping that background three times on the white cs with Stazon jet black ink.  The background is from Martha Stewart.  I will find out who the martini glass is from.  When I opened the set I didn’t think to keep the topper from the package that had the company name and stamp set on it :(

red bridal shower

This is the card I made for my sister.  Her friend is having a bridal party this weekend.  I love to add red for some “pop”.  This also happens to work for the wt235 challenge at SCS :)  I stamped the image from oogaloo-wedding dress in Stazon jet black ink.  I punched it out using my 1 3/4 circle punch.  Then I used my 2 5/16 scallop punch on the red cs.  I layered them on the black top-note shape.  The ribbon is ribbon trends by Paper studio.  I cut it at an angle on the left side and added a staple.  I put fray check on both ends.  I use this on any ribbon pieces to ensure the quality of the ribbon and look.  What do you think?  Thanks for looking.img_7090.JPG

Happy Anniversary

img_6786.JPGThis is the card I made for my brother and sister-in-law’s anniversary back in August.

Cards for fundraiser

img_6784.JPGOne of my parents neighbors were having a fundraiser for one of that daughter’s that was having kidney failure.  These are the cards that I made for my mom and I to give to them with a little cash tucked inside.  The top card was done with pp paper, ribbon, Stazon jet black ink and the saying was from Michael’s in their $1 bin.  The bottom card was inspired from Nichole’s blog (capture the moment…found on my side bar).  She had done something like this with the Mod Squad stamp when it was released.  If you are not familiar with Papertrey Ink and her blog, you need to check it out!  The image is from the ki memories set celebrate life.  I used Stazon azure and the button was from paper studios bag o buttons.  The twine is from PTI.  The sentiment was from Anna Griffin’s Darcey collection, stamped in Stazon Jet black.img_6781.JPG

Updates

So things continue to be busy here.  I am trying to post at least once a week…would like to do it more often than that.  Here are some more things that I have created in the last month or so that have been waiting to enter blogland :)  This is a bag and tag that I made for my mom to give to my great Aunt on her birthday.img_6780.JPGimg_6779.JPG

wedding cards continued

img_6778.JPGHere are the other wedding cards I made for my cousin.  The sentiment on the top card was one that I had read in my local scrapbppk store. The bottom card I used MOJO sketch 98.img_6793.JPG
